Summary
While strolling around their backyard, Ellen (Penny Barber) and her husband Walter (John Strong) see Terry, the neighbor's teen, skulking about. They are particularly intrigued yet wary since Terry soon makes an appearance at the residence of their unruly teenage neighbor, Gina (Haley Reed). With increasing distaste, Ellen and Walter observe Terry hesitantly tapping on Gina's door. They speak quietly until Gina sticks her head out, at which point she gives them a brown paper bag. Ellen and Walter make the decision to step in at that point, catching Terry as she sneaks out of Gina's residence. Terry drops the bag and runs away so he won't get caught red-handed. Ellen and Walter are enraged and surprised as they open the package and see what's inside. They had previously warned Gina to stay out of trouble, but it's obvious that keeping her parents in the dark out of mercy was the wrong thing to do. Ellen and Walter now promise to make Gina learn a lesson. A knock at the front door is answered by Gina. She is shocked to see Ellen and Walter there, who swoop in and declare that she ought to be in serious trouble for all of her interfering. It's time for her to stop since she is endangering the safety of the entire community. Gina pleads with Ellen and Walter not to tell her parents after being taken aback. Walter and Ellen agree, but only if they give Ellen a penalty she won't soon forget.
